Parks With Points

Trip Outline: I just booked a flight for a week Road Trip with my Dad to hit some National Parks and, of course, the bigger coaster parks. Parks: Red Rock Canyon Death Valley National Park Sequoia National Park King's Canyon National Park California's Great America (Cedar Fair) Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Discovery Kingdom (Six Flags) Yosemite National Park Magic Mountain (Six Flags) Knott's Berry Farm (Cedar Fair) Couldn't fit in Joshua Tree National Park, Sea World San Diego, or Channel Island National Park - just ran out of time. Also, the list may need to be changed because of wild fires in the area (dry September 2021) Anchor Airports: LAS (Los Vegas) -- I know, not really an anchor for the coasters but only direct flight we could get LAX (Los Angeles) SFO (San Francisco) Any thoughts/ideas? Sound off in the comments....

Lets Plan After a review like this at a park so close I have to plan a trip: Trip Outline: I'm thinking... Ext Weekend, Pick up Safari Land on the way to Six Flag Great America (Chicago, IL) Tentatively we will be up end of July so I need to look up hours and see how this would go. Adventureland has been on my list of parks to checkout for a while. I'm hoping to figure out how to get there this year. This video pretty much pushed it up the list. I find that his reviews are pretty spot on. So, plan on seeing my rough outline soon of how I'm going to fit this into one of my weekend loops as it's pretty close to IL. According to LogRideApp they have 37 attraction - 6 Coasters and 17 flats 

We have park reservations Friday and Saturday Nov 30 2020 The Plan: Drive in for check-in and on to the park for Friday night. We stay until the kids are cold and back to the hotel for a night. Back for rope rope and leave for home when the kids are cold. Park : Season passes, not cost Food : Split our food plans, extras/upgrades only Hotel : I picked 2 options based on my current cards (more info at hotels.parkswithpoint.com?? opt 1) Chase Ultimate Rewards: Onsite(ish) at Holiday Inn If you got this card as of this post that would be about 8 nights so using one night isn't bad as all opt 2) Hilton Closest is one exit away so still close If you got the Hilton card  I'm Planning on Hilton as I have more points and like to save the Chase points for our Flights on the 2021 Rollercoaster Rylie all Six Flags Extravaganza ** Note: Diamond status will not get you anything other than close parking as this location doesn't have suites :-(
